Jackie Powers, labelled "The Try-hard", is the epitome of giving it your all. The second daughter of an Olympic family, Jackie has some big shoes to fill and has built an incredibly strict routine to make sure she reaches all of her goals. She is super athletic and absolutely loves to compete in physical competitions, always giving it 110%. Because of her relentless over-competitiveness, many people find her annoying and hard to be around for long, especially if she isn't winning. She is a huge sore loser and prides herself on being able to complete whatever physical task anyone has for her.
Her older sister Caroline was training to be an Olympic skater whilst growing up, and seeing her sister's athletic feats inspired and motivated Jackie to give it her all too. A little attention deprived for most of her childhood, Jackie adopted her parent's attitude and drive for athletic success in hopes she'd gain their approval. Her parents' strict guidelines included forcing them to participate in a multitude of sports and extracurriculars, which is why Jackie is in such good shape. Once Caroline opted out of Olympic training to focus on her studies, their parents projected their aspirations onto Jackie, which made her work even harder. However, this also caused her to develop a super destructive personality, causing her to have trouble making lasting relationships with others.

Starlight Savanna[]
Jackie, like the other 19 contestants, was brought into the savanna. Right off the bat, Jackie exuded in positive energy and strong combat skills. However, this also proved to tarnish her throughout the season. In Episode-2, Jackie was caught alongside fellow contestant, and new rival, Aubrey, eliminating both of their chances to be a team captain. Jackie was the first person chosen by Brendan to be on the Barbaric Bones, due to her combat prowess. However this would prove to be a mistake, has Jackie caused most of the arguments on the team, either due to poor team management by Brendan, people pissing her off like China, Octavio, Ron, or Cosmo, or her strong leader personality clashing with Aubrey and Fran. Although she was an outcast by her team, she managed to make her way to the merge, unlike most of her team-mates. Jackie performed consistently well in the first few merge episodes, growing a fondness to Greg, who is a fellow strong-leader, albeit more polite. Despite this, she was eliminated in Episode 14, due to both her consistent performances, and Vince's meddling. She ranked in 10th place. Jackie, unlike most of the other contestants rooted for Megan in the finale to win due to her status as an "underdog."
Back in Action[]
Jackie, unlike the first season, was a Team-Captain, of the Proud Producers. The team she chose consisted of Casey and Danny, due to powerful presences and placements, Xavier, Georgia, and Ron due to balance, and Violet due to being stuck with last choice. Right off the bat, Jackie's team lost two challenges, in both she showed to be turning into a much more bossy and antagonistic character. She won her team the Pirate challenge, due to Georgia's quick thinking combined with her athletic ability. Up to Episode 5 [regarding the Aftermath], her team, along with Greg's team, were getting sick and tired of their competitive clashing personalities, thus explaining Greg's elimination in said episode, and Jackie's right after. Jackie placed 10th once again for going psycho in the challenge, however many fans have pointed out Jackie got 10th twice in a row.
Island Homecoming[]
Jackie instantly went into this season butting heads with Aubrey, however Greg was avoiding her due to her more then toxic personality last season. However, Jackie soon began to change in this season. Being placed on the problematic team of Aubrey, Octavio, Angela, and Wendelle [aka, Team Grief], it seemed like Jackie would take over has boss again, however was balanced by Aubrey's wit and Angela's ... everything. In Episode-2, Jackie spent most of her time arguing with the two previously listed contestants, however was saved by Wendelle. Eventually throughout the pre-merge, after losing Wendelle, Aubrey and Jackie team up against the other two, and become good friends. At merge, after losing Aubrey, Jackie teams up with Greg and Megan, becoming friends with both again, and forming the Trifecta alliance. However they loss Megan right after and replaced her with Stuart, however then Stuart was lost. Eventually, Jackie loses to Angela in a combat challenge, and places 4th place. In the finale, Jackie is chosen by Greg to be his "date", and is eventually the one to encourage him enough to win. Jackie was also in the Top-3 of the YouTube's Favorite Player, with Stuart and Octavio, however lost to the ladder.
Comeback Cruise[]
Jackie didn't compete this go around, but she was brought back for a special Aftermath episode along with the other non-competitors that season.
Legends[]
Jackie was one of the ten people chosen from the original NG season to play in Legends. In the first episode, she was the second to arrive, being nicknamed "Papa Bear" by Cosmo. She was also one of the eight contestants to receive a red tiki doll. She received hers with Greg, and her sister Caroline. In the second and third episodes, Greg got his feelings intertwined between the Powers, thus making Jackie jealous when Greg started ... "flirting" with Caroline. Vince noticed this has well, and teamed up with her. Sadly however, Jackie's leadership and bossiness seeped through the cracks yet again, causing her to be eliminated in 10th Place for the 3rd time, this time due to Caroline's immunity idol, Georgia's earned-challenge-immunity, and Megan's Twisted Tiki power of a sole vote. When it was between Jackie and China, she was eliminated. Later in Episode 10 of Legends, which is also the 100th episode, Jackie and Greg's relationship became official. In the finale, she voted for Megan to be eliminated, likely due to Megan being the one to eliminate her.
Breton Strikes Back[]
Jackie returns as team captain of the "Pure Powers."
